    The Web team at Qonto currently has over +40 highly-skilled engineers, from all over the world, working in cross-functional teams to shape our finance solutions.

    👩‍💻🧑‍💻As a Front-end Engineering Manager at Qonto, you will

    • Manage a team of 3 to 6 Frontend Engineers

    • Coordinate with Tech and Product Leads to define a vision and strategy for your cross-functional team

    • Drive the delivery of your cross-functional team to help us meet business objectives

    • Mentor, pair, and delegate work to foster the professional and technical growth of your teammates

    • Run 1o1s and quarterly progress reviews to provide regular feedback to your team members

    • Help build a collaborative, diverse and supportive team culture and make it shine

    • Run interviews to hire new team members

    As part of the Web team of our Tech department, you will be the Frontend Lead of a cross-functional team. Every cross-functional team handles a part of our product. A few examples of these teams that you could manage are:


    ✈️ Onboarding: the team guiding users through a delightful and frictionless sign-up experience.

    💸 Spend management: the team allowing Qonto users to decentralize their team’s expenses while keeping them under control.

    🤝 Your future Head


    You will report to a Senior Lead, who is herself reporting to our Head of Web, Florian 

    • His background: after a first experience in financial supervision, he went from software engineer at Dashlane to CTO of the French anti-money laundering unit, before joining Qonto as a right-hand to our CTO Aymeric and then switching to Head of Web.

    • What he brings to the team: together with the Frontend Leads, Florian promotes healthy communication between team members, continuously improves the team’s operating system, accelerates team members’ growth towards proficiency... and chases all sources of waste which can bring down the team’s morale and velocity!


    🏅About You


    • Leadership: you already have a first experience as a manager, and you have a track record of taking initiative to improve the team’s working conditions, as well as supporting your teammates and helping them grow

    • Team player: you can collaboratively lead the evolution of your cross-functional team. You have excellent communication skills, which help you diffuse knowledge across teams and align people to work successfully on their projects

    • Tech Skills: you spent at least 3 years writing code in a modern tech team, you master web languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and at least one modern SPA Javascript framework (not necessarily Ember.js)

    • Languages: You are fluent in English
