Role Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Frontend Engineer to join our world-class engineering team. As a Frontend Engineer at DFlow, you will have tremendous impact on our product’s success by building and maintaining high-quality, mission-critical user interfaces and experiences. You will work closely with the Product and Design teams to ensure that the user experience is exceptional and the design is consistent and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the development of public-facing web applications from inception to production and beyond.
• Build responsive and scalable user interfaces and experiences for our web applications using modern frontend technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with the Product and Design teams to ensure that the user experience is exceptional and the design is consistent and visually appealing.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and ensure the codebase is well-documented and tested.
• Optimize the performance of our applications, and ensure they are fast, reliable, and accessible.

Key Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience with web development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with at least one modern front-end framework such as Next.js, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills, and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• We are specifically looking for someone located in the Chicago area for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of blockchain technology and the crypto space is a plus, but not required.
