About the Front-end Engineer role:

This is a technical role that reports to the VP of Engineering.

• Strong applicants will have experience implementing end-to-end webapps or doing other back-end engineering and devops work, but chosen to focus more on the front-end as an area of interest
• Work with the product and engineering team to turn the product vision into user-visible features
• In addition to implementation, you'll be actively involved in product definition and design, with a real impact on the UI/UX of the overall platform
• Clovyr does a lot in the browser that others might do server-side. To be great at this role, you're excited to think of "front-end" as fundamental to our core product.

Your Experience & Skills:

• Skilled with Vue, TypeScript, and JavaScript, and a wizard with CSS
• Comfortable navigating a back-end service like Node
• Some design via Figma or Photoshop. We use a designer, but you might need to fill in some assets on the fly.
• When building a feature, you consider whether adding another npm dependency is the best way to do it
• Able to connect interface elements to APIs and can provide requirements for APIs as they're being built
• Implement interfaces that demonstrate great UX, with and without the input of a dedicated designer
• Follow existing brand style guides and independently fill in the gaps where decisions have yet to be made
• Experience with WASM a plus

• Are opinionated about setting defaults and progressive education that aligns business outcomes with happy users
• Like getting creative about how to encourage user behavior that might be new or unfamiliar
