As our Shopify Tech Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing, architecting, and optimizing complex Shopify solutions. You’ll lead projects from inception to launch, provide mentorship to other developers, and act as a primary escalation point for technical challenges.
Your technical expertise should include development, expert-level HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid templating, and Shopify APIs. Desirable additional skills include knowledge of Hydrogen/Oxygen, React frameworks (e.g., NextJS, RemixJS), TypeScript, Chakra UI, and TailwindCSS which are considered a plus.
In terms of leadership, we are looking for proven experience in a senior or tech lead role. It is important to have a demonstrated ability to architect scalable, maintainable solutions, and create custom Shopify themes and applications. You should also have the ability to optimize stores for performance, reliability, and adherence to non-functional requirements (NFRs).
