Role Overview

We're seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our web applications. You will own the frontend stack, drive best practices in UI/UX, and work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver polished, reliable, and high-performance applications.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in solving hard technical problems while also caring deeply about user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Architecture & Leadership

•      Lead frontend architecture decisions and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of the codebase

•      Establish and enforce best practices in frontend development, testing, and deployment

UI/UX Development

•      Design and implement clean, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces

•      Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into elegant solutions

Backend Integration

•      Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs and real-time data streams seamlessly

Mentorship & Team Building

•      Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence

Innovation & Technology

•      Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and recommend adoption where relevant

Requirements

Experience & Expertise

•      7+ years of professional frontend development experience, with at least 3+ years in senior/lead roles

•      Expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React strongly preferred)

•      Strong knowledge of state management, component design, and frontend architecture

Technical Skills

•      Experience with real-time data applications (WebSockets, GraphQL subscriptions)

•      Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3 (including Tailwind, Styled Components, or SCSS)

•      Deep understanding of performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards (WCAG)

•      Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library)

•      Familiarity with build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Webpack, Vite, GitHub Actions)

Collaboration & Communication

•      Strong UX sensibility and ability to collaborate closely with design teams

•      Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Haves

•      Experience in financial services, trading platforms, or data-intensive applications

•      Familiarity with real-time charting libraries (Recharts, D3.js, Highcharts)

•      Understanding of design systems and component libraries

•      Prior experience in a startup or fast-scaling environment
