Staff Backend Engineer (UK Remote)

Requirements

Applicants should have:

Backend Engineering Experience

At least 3+ years in a senior or staff-level backend engineering role

Node.js Proficiency

3+ years of professional experience with Node.js, including building production-grade applications

Distributed Messaging Systems

Strong experience with distributed messaging systems (e.g., Kafka)

AWS Deployment

Hands-on experience deploying and managing services on AWS, with a solid understanding of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker

Security Expertise

Strong understanding of security principles, particularly around secure data handling, encryption, and best practices
